Custom Picture Framing

You Name It, We’ll Frame It *

Whether it be oil on canvas, acrylic, a Calgary Flames/Edmonton Oilers jersey, personal memorabilia, textile, graduation documents, comics,… The list could go on. If you want to know ‘can it be framed’? At ArtBox, our aim is to find ways to affirm.

How It Works

1

Bring Your Items

Meet our framing expert at the framing counter located adjacent to reception. The expert will spend some time discussing your needs, final setting of the completed work, and more.

2

Consider Your Options

Amongst the 1000+ frame options and even more mats, we’ll help guide you in the direction you want to go, while being there to support you in your decision making every step of the way.

3

Narrow It Down

Select a number of options that resonate with you. We’ll compare your selections, while considering the final setting of the piece, until you’re satisfied that you’ve found just right.

4

Don’t Let Your Memories Fade

Choose from either regular, conservation, or museum glass. Conservation and Museum Glass offer protection against 99% of UV rays, keeping your favorite moments from fading.

5

Pay At Pick-up

Once you’ve selected you’re framing combination, you’re set. We’ll get your contact info and give you an estimate for time required for completion. When work is complete, we’ll give you a call (or send you an e-mail – the choice is yours). You pay when you pick-up your framed items.

Picture Canvas Printing

Bring Your Photos To Life

Smartphone, professional camera, film…No matter what your photography medium happens to be, we’ll work with it to bring you the best possible result on canvas.

How It Works

1

Take A Photo (or Film or Slide)

Phone, DSLR camera, an existing photograph, stock photography site, film or a slide from a polaroid camera – no matter where your photo comes from, we’ll make it work. Bring in a thumb drive with your image, your photograph, or send it to our e-mail address as an attachment.

2

Work With Our Design Experts

There are a number of factors that determine the quality of a print including image resolution, availability of light at the time the photo was taken, image sensor, ISO performance (noise with higher exposure settings), and the file format (we recommend bringing in RAW file format images). Our design experts have seen it all and will work to produce a high-quality image regardless of the combination of factors mentioned above.

3

Design Your Image

Maybe you want to highlight the red portions in your image and render the remainder as grayscale or maybe you want to chop the image up and produce multiple prints from that image. No matter what your ambitions, our design experts will help create the print of your dreams.

4

Decide On Size, Print Medium, Stretcher Bar Depth

We offer a number of print mediums including high-quality canvas, satin photo paper, hot press bright Epson paper (archival quality), and Hahnemuhle fine art archival grade water-colour paper.

We also offer two depths of stretcher bar (determining the depth of the canvas). Select from either the standard 3/4″ stretcher bar or premium 1 1/2″ stretcher bar. Also, we can wrap the image around the stretcher bar, or mirror image, creating a clean look from any viewing angle.

See below for pricing according to print size, medium, and stretcher bar depth.

5

Pay At Pick-up

Once you’ve selected you’re printing combination, you’re set. We’ll get your contact info and give you an estimate for time required for completion. When work is complete, we’ll give you a call (or send you an e-mail – the choice is yours). You pay when you pick-up your prints.
